thepasty
Hi Guys Down here in Cornwall we get a lot of broccoli and the pigeon love it, I'm yet to see anyone mention shooting over it on here? Broccoli is being planted now and the pigeon are already attacking it in favour of the likes of stubble etc.... is this a Cornwall thing? We get some good shooting in the colder months over this stuff. Cheers Steve Edited August 23, 2013 by thepasty
fendrover90
When it goes to flower they will go nuts for it absolutey suicidal we have a fair bit to shoot over but usually leave it til it's harvested. Hares do most of the damage here in the fens... good luck
la bala
As fendrover90 said we have a fair bit of broccoli grown in the fens, and when it gets by its sell by date the pigeons love it. .

yod dropper
They massacre the brassicas I put out in the garden, even pulling them from the ground. They're well known to gardeners. ... I've just read in the dictionary that rape is a brassica, not just cabbage, cauliflowers etc. as I thought. M ROBSON
They love the Calibri up here too, especially when there's some snow on the ground.
