.17hmr rifle

hi lads can you please give any info on the 17hmr rifle as i i not had one it would be a big help before i buy rifle i have in mind is anschutz heavy barrel regards danno

 

 

I have the Anshutz with a heavy barrel deadly accurate and great to use a bit more expensive than some other HMR's but worth it in my opinion..... :yes::yes::lol::lol::thanks: :unsure:

I had the same plan not so long ago so I bought a CZ at nearly half the price but more than matches the performance of the Anshultz ,In fact it's a tack driver to be honest with most of the available ammunition ..............With the money saved you can invest in some quality optics . :thanks:

Is that the american or varmint?

 

im was planning on getting the varmint 16" barrel but im aiming towards the longer barrel version now.

 

Also how did you get your stock to come up so nice?

It's the Varmint Daz ............Note there is no fore end chequering and the reciever is matt as opposed to a gloss finish ,these two points being a characteristic of the CZ American :good:

 

Believe it or not that is the factory finish and I did'nt like it so with nitro morse ,wire wool ,plastic brush ,woodstain and antique oil later I created my own .........or at least I think I did as the photo does'nt do it justice :good:

I like it, especially the woodwork, looks so much nicer than the factory glossy finish.

 

Is that the 21" barrel then? looks like it, its the one im going for.

 

If i had a custom finish how much would they charge me?
