Anybody started shooting on drillings yet?

Not many drillings about here at tye minute bar mybe 2-3 fields and they are baron of anything or someone might have got there before me to shoot them.

Aw augest is the time for them ere no point at the minute with pigeons all start nesting

Tend to leave them alone now, but I will shoot them if I am asked. This usually happens a couple of times each year. I will post if this happens.

Another one for leaving them at this time of year until August, earlier if they are hitting the laid cereals and im asked too. Moving onto the clay variety for a change.

Ill be doing the same as you angry mallard plus a bit of fishing

I would tend to leave them for a while until the laid cereals, but I do get asked to deal with them if they are causing a problem. I won't hesitate from shooting a field that corvids are attacking though.

Yes corvids are the only exception to shooting during the summer especially magpies shoot as many of them as you can
