hi guys today me and driller were back in action and we invited my mate chana in the hide with us,we went back to a place were we shot 230 three week ago so to be honest every thing could have dried up.when we got there the fields were just blue with pigeons and when we tried to get them up they just kept landing back down again,so we set up a big hide and started letting them have it,we had three flight lines coming over us so the spot we picked was bang on,i cant say they decoyed brilliant again but as we were under the flight lines it didn't realy matter,we set up around two pm and finished at 6.30pm and ended up with 219 picked up with easily another 10 or more away,so another good day for us all with some good sporting shots as it was very windy at times, also our dogs worked well again as they have had plenty experience this year if i be honest, also we met a game dealer on the way home and sold every one which is a serious bonus, chana took the picture but if you look you can see his gun, cheers simon

Brilliant result, well done. Laying them out is a pain but I take "Trophy Shots" as its a moment in time that you never get back. At the end of the year when I deliver the Christmas Cheer to the farmer I take the bragging book to show them how the year has been. This gets you more invites to other farms.

You say that you built a big hide so I presume you all shot from the same hide , I'd loved to be a fly on the wall in there, with all the banter that must have gone on. Once again great result and lucky that you could take them straight to the game dealer that saves a lot of freezer time.

Great photo and write up!

Well done lads.

Looks like this year hasn't been so successful as last year for us, but we will keep plugging on. We have got a fair bit of new permisions this year so it hasn't all been bad news, I'm sure it will turn around for us at some point.

I read your post last week when you said that you had to give up pigeon shooting temporarily to get back to work. What ever happened to your resolve?

In my book you made the only sensible decision. You only live once. Good shooting again. Channa owes you one.

I drove and i make simons tea almost every night haha
