jam1e
She's home now! "Dogs Trust" have been great. They treated her in case of worms and fleas. Gave her the necessary jabs an older puppy should have, and even neutered her before we picked her up. First night with her last night and she was a pain in the a**!! We put her in her indoor "pen" in the lounge along with some toys and water, but she wouldn't settle. She kept pining and barking until we went down to her. If we lived without neighbours I would have let her get on with it. But we have neighbours on one side and I don't want to p*** them off. I'm after a few tips on looking after puppies, but I'll start a new thread for that.... Here she is relaxing in the lounge....
Hamster
I'm no real expert but would have thought responding to her barks would be a no no, try putting a blanket over the cage and see if that helps her settle a little. It may be worth getting her in the pen for an hour or two a few times during the day as well while you're around ?!
