Flashgun Posted September 15, 2013 Report Share Posted September 15, 2013 I went to a straw bale shoot yesterday it was run by fair clay targets and it was brilliant, the targets were very well set up and was very well organised, did anyone on here go. if so what did you think. The shoots I attend are very challenging and a LOT more changeable than most 'permanent' shoots. What's the point in shooting the same layout week in and week out? Sure, you'll learn how to hit those same birds but then the wheels fall off when you're presented with something different. More variation of targetsCouldn't agree more mate ,the big grounds are all well and good bit I can honestly say I enjoy nothing more than "roughing it" as it were at a good old straw baler.
