lister1
My shotgun certificate renewal reminder came in the post 2 weeks ago. The following week I got all the relevant paperwork done ie counter signature etc and posted it off wednesday 11th september. Yesterday I had a phone call fro my FEO saying she is in my area on Thursday and has all her paperwork done just needs to sign it off and do the visit. So my visit is thursday 8.30 am. I think a week is a good turnaround. Thats not to say I'll get my new certificate on thursday. Cambridgeshire police are certainly on the ball. KFC
She'll usually say that you should get your certificate in two weeks after her visit and it will actually arrive in 7 - 10 days. I've always been very impressed with our Firearms dept. Very efficient with renewals or variations

lister1
Yep cambs have been good. Before I moved I was norfolk and had to wait weeks. Infact they never once contacted me, I had to contact them.
