pigeon-hunter
Hi all I am in the process of doing alot of research at the moment trying to find a working bread puppy. As its such a minefield out there with breeders, I was wondering if anyone knows of a good breeder. I live in Surrey, but I don't care what area breader is il travel where ever. Thank you in advance for your help.

Cockermax
Need to decide what breed of dog you want first. Look at the type of shooting you will be doing and that may help you decide.

gazbev
You will be spoilt for choice with labs, less around this time of year though because of when the bitches come into season. If you don't get any luck here try gundogtrainingforum
eccles
A friend of mine did have a couple left other day,in Mid Wales though. She picks up on all of the good shoot in that area. If you want to travel that far let me know and i'll give you her number.

al4x
It's good you are doing your research and you will have a fair selection to choose from, if you get the registered names of the sire and dam check them out to see what hip scores etc they have and that they aren't too close a match and then look at the breeder. I prefer to buy pups from someone who breeds occasionally who has put effort into it rather than those who breed for money, are they keeping a pup is also a good question to ask as that shows a good reason for breeding. Once you find a litter you like ask on here odds are someone will know of the breeder and voice an opinion.
