Chokes & valocity

If it takes 3 bricklayers 40 minutes to build a wall, and 2 labourers 60 minutes to mix the mortar, how high is the wall?

Twice as tall as half.

Carbs on old cars have a restriction to speed up gas flow called a choke oddly enough. The restriction in a shot gun choke is a hell of a lot smaller so the effect will be small but it will be an effect.

To my way of thinking any Constriction will put pressures up, observed recoil on fast burning powders may seem to slightly give less recoil, Black powder on the other hand is a FELT heavy shove.. but constriction will delay the shot going out the barrel, (We are Talking Silly numbers,) but non the less..

Long range Low Velocity loading taught me this many years ago.. So in my humble opinion yes pressure will go UP.

so we are comparing water to shot ballistics now?

if there is any gain or loss as to the velocity through choking, would be miniscule to the shot to shot natural variation in ballistics.

i doubt there would be any system to distinguish from choking additional speed and shot variation.

i can roll up a hosepipe, does that mean i can roll up my gun?

thats silly....next time a pigeon lands in your garden shoot it with your hosepipe
