johnphilip Posted October 8, 2013 Report Share Posted October 8, 2013 I live not far away, isle of withorn is nice, nice gunroom called glenluce gun room we clay shoot every second wednesday. So next one will be a week tomorrow. Portpatrick is very nice, stranraer is a ****hole lol.so lovely veiw all around the area. Depends what you are into. If you sea fish, you could fish of burrowhead. Its nice down at the mull of galloway that is at the other side of the bay to burrowhead. Sometimes you can get a cheap crossing on ferry for a day trip to belfast. Used to be able to do it for 10 -20 quid. Hope that helps i am english and have lived here 10years and have been made welcome were every i go around here. They are nice people....
