Anti-shooting group

Got this this morning.

There is an anti-shooting group that appears to be targeting shoots with the objective of capturing photographs of people taking part in the shoot losing their temper whilst holding a gun. Their aim is to send these pictures to the police to get peoples licenses suspended.

The CLA Eastern Region have reported an incident on Saturday 16th November where 8 people in black wearing balaclavas arrived with the intent of causing as much disruption as possible to a shoot.

We recommend that you take the following into account should this happen to you on a shoot day:

  • Put your gun in its sleeve straight away
  • Call the police to notify them
  • Remain calm and do not allow yourself to react to their actions as this is what they want

Here was Me thinking it was unlawful to intimidate people! I really believe it's time they come down HARD of Sabs who quite clearly attempt to intimidate and goad people into a confrontation.

Tresspass, with intent to cause disruption to a lawful activity, should be made to fall under criminal tresspass.

More should be done to remove the perps and Sue the SAB'S group for loss of earnings etc!

Regarding the Cambrideshire incident, the Police have apparently received no such complaint as reported by guns on pegs, from the landowner, but did receive one of trespass. So what is going on is anyones guess. Perhaps David BASC could shed some light (and not only on this issue) as I see he's online.

Whilst on the subject of anti's etc., if any of you are on Facebook there has been a group called "SCUM" who have been sending spam and other items to members of shooting/hunting/fishing groups. Following hundreds of complaints Facebook have removed their page, however, they are now back and are calling themselves "S-***", just thought you may like to be aware. ATB.
