Alright lads. What's a good price for a escort? Heard some good reviews about then so thinking of getting one for pigeon shooting.

I paid about £275 for my 2nd hand (almost new) black synthetic one. It works and I don't have to worry about it getting wet, muddy etc.

Some have said avoid the early 1st generation guns as they could be of variable quality.

I have a gen 2 which is fine (they prefer 70mm carts) and my mate has the gen 3 (extended chokes).

Not bad for the money and does the job.

Seems like you got a great bargain for £100 mate. If I saw one for that then I would Deffo snap it up.

A gun shop down my way sells them from £350 brand new, I know my mate picked 1 up last week, plus iv had mine about 2 yrs know and love it. In fact its the only gun I use, but mines a 20bore synthetic in magic wood, light as a feather but looks like real wood. Never had a jam or nowt, I only put eley high flyers through it, and when I could get them eley ct, cheers hh

Better than change choke shoot them when they are low flying into a strong head wind. You will move the flight line real rapid shooting at birds you do not drop, they are canny birds.
