Thunderbird
I've got sky broadband and landline at the moment and I'm thinking about getting sky TV also. Anyone know the best way of getting the best deal as a new TV customer? Not interested in movies or sport, probably just the entertainment plus. Any ideas before I ring them or go online? onefulham
Tell 'em your leaving, they offer more to keep or new customers than they do to loyal continual customers, just like all the chiseling insurance companies ! Also always ring, find a non pay number on saynoto0870 I find these numbers get answered quicker as well.
Munzy
Yep, I'd give that a go too, something like... "I've got internet and phone with you but I've just spoken to Virgin and for the same price I can move the services to them and get TV too. What's the best TV package you can offer me before I switch to Virgin?"
Thunderbird
I was thinking along those lines too... trouble is Virgin doesn't cover my area!
Pastiebap
As bt and talktalk do tv that should give you a bit of leverage.
shaun4860
The only problem with that approach is when they say "oh, we are sorry to lose you but we understand" As long as you are prepared to leave then fair enough
Thunderbird
I've sorted it, thanks. Not a lot of wiggle room as there aren't any other TV providers but got a bit of a deal on the BB. I'm happy. Sky+HD box with wifi.
