stevethevanman
looking to get it and wondered what you think?
dazzyboi
I was going to get one of these, but people persuaded me away from it and i got a very well built and reliable lanber instead. From what people made out, they seemed to have alot of problems with the firing pins on this gun, sometimes misfiring (not firing at all) and even double firing. Iv seen one in person, i think the scrolling is alot better than the acid etching but its more of a gimmick. If you do a search it will bring up plenty of results..Including a couple of my own threads (lanber Vs bettinsoli)
ronan nee
seen one of them firing before while safety was on. Happened more than once, and firing on both barrels was frequent. would'nt want to be around one again. regards ronan
Gordon R
You can get a better gun for your money - whatever price it is.
dazzyboi
I picked up my lanber field delux for £495 brand new on a special price, was £550, the betty was £595 For that sort of price budget i would pick a lanber, ask anyone on here they will tell you that they are reliable, very good for spare parts etc, good solid guns, proof being people who have owned them for 15-16 years and still a solid all round gun. stevethevanman
do these lanbers have optic sights, because I hate optic sights
stupidsalmon
For that price i'd be looking for a nice s/h beretta or the like,
dazzyboi
If you mean the high vis bead at the top of the barrel, then some do, and some dont, depends what one you get. Mine does and it helps.
Lord Geordie
The Bettinsoli isn't that bad a gun YES it HAS had a few probs with soft firing pins but dry firing does not help the matter. I had to reprofile the pins on a friends gun he dry fired it 3 times in all and the burr caused the pins to drag and led to misfires. Once reprofiled they work fine. Also he had a problem with the QC the gun after firing the second barrel in quick succession to the first would break open. This was due to the lock mechanism being poorly assembled there was too much material left on the slide and it couldn't engage fully in the slot. It was sent away and they milled a few microns off the slide and it's now fine. A LOT of guns even the like of Beretta suffer from teething probs now and then the Bettinsoli is a NICE gun and you CAN do worse. I also agree the Lanber takes some beating for it's money also. Personally i would buy BOTH LG
