Greg.L
Hi Guys & Girls, Just wondering if you can recommend any gunsmiths or dealers in norfolk for me. Ive just been approved my licence and am just waiting for it to come through in the post but in the mean time have saturday morning free to have a drive around and do a bit of window shopping Im planning to go to country field sports RFD & gunsmith in northwalshm and possibly Philip Webster Gunsmith in Gt. Ellingham. I want somewhere with as big a range as possible so hold a few and get a good idea of what i want/need.
archi
You have Chris tanner -Wymondam sporting guns Woods of swaffham Churchills of Dereham Thetfors guns Of the 4 above woods & churchills probably have the most Stock Or if you want to go a bit further then Simpsons of Newmarket
eredel
If you don't mind a trip into Suffolk try Trulock & Harris in Framlingham for a good selection, check out their website. Also check out the Simpsons of Newmarket website for their current stock. Eric.
fenboy
I have not used him personally but I know Phillip Webster is very well regarded by those odd people over the border . https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&ved=0CDAQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.philipwebstergunsmith.co.uk%2F&ei=eEDhUsGKEOyV7AbR4oBw&usg=AFQjCNGKdIACpSoTW9ud4AGpfeDH9uLUwg&bvm=bv.59568121,d.ZGU

decoy1979
If you are looking to pay over the odds and don't mind receiving poor after sales service head along to Churchills of Dereham. Greg.L
Thanks guys, few there I hadn't heard of! And thanks for the warning about churchills! I think Phillip Webster will be my first visit as he's been recommended by my friend also
Gunman
Are Lings still at Great Massingham near Kings Lynn? Please do not confuse a gun dealer with a gunsmith .Not always the same thing
Paddy Galore!
don't discount churchills until you try them, they're not that bad at all. just don't go there with an attitude and try to knock the prices down. i'd personally recommend norfolk sporting guns in wymondham, what chris tanner doesn't know about guns isn't worth knowing. timmyra608
If you are looking to pay over the odds and don't mind receiving poor after sales service head along to Churchills of Dereham. I have to disagree with this one, I have always found them to be priced fairly and have had some good after sales service with them. Also as a bonus I always manage to get a gun slip etc thrown in when I buy a gun from them. They have a wide range of guns on there web site. Www.churchillsofdereham.co.uk. have a look then compare them to other gun shops. I went to country field sports in north walsham 2day and he has got some nice guns in there just not the range. Are Lings still at Great Massingham near Kings Lynn? Please do not confuse a gun dealer with a gunsmith .Not always the same thing Yes they are mate, they also have the biggest selection of cartridges I have ever seen in a gun shop
BrowningDJC
Norfolk sporting guns and woods of swaffham i use the most. Both will point you in the right direction and are extremely good gunsmiths.
ChrisAsh
Another vote for Phill Webster does a good gun fit There is another gunshop in North Walsham, something ending manor, they advertise on trade guns for sale on this forum, Country sports have a very large selection of new and Old

Sitinhide
Phillip Webster is a top bloke I've bought a couple of guns from him great service and cheaper than anywhere, good range of cartridges and can get you most things at a good price. Greg.L
Cheers again everyone. I ended up going to see Phillip Webster a couple of times and ended up buying from him. As you say he's a top bloke and was really really helpful, he spent alot of time with me explaining everything i needed to know and answered all the questions i had without turning his nose up as some others would. He didn't try and make a sale at all there was definitely no pressure to buy. And on top of that his prices were better than i could find anywhere, including online! 10/
