grantwal Posted March 6, 2014 Report Share Posted March 6, 2014 Hi im looking at upgrading my browning medalist to a bettinsoli diamondline and i was wondering if the bettinsoli diamondline will last a long time and should i see any trouble with the diamondline. I've had a look at some reviews but they all seem to be mixed some saying that there very good and others saying that its not worth it, i will mostly be shooting clays and game birds. thanks for you help. I'm sure you'll get a few on here who say it's good and a few who will tell you to spend the money on a different brand but buy second hand. Most important thing for me is fit & feel. If it's not sitting right in your shoulder and you get a dodgy sight picture then any shotgun is virtually worthless. Greg.L Posted March 6, 2014 Report Share Posted March 6, 2014 Ive got one... bought it new about a month or so ago and have been out and done about 150 clays every weekend since and can't fault it so far. I bought it new and looked at a few other guns for the same money and in my opinion this seemed the best put together out of what i saw. You'll get a 20 year old one for the price of a bettinsoli and I recon the miroku will outlat the Betty, without anything other than a couple of springs and pins after a hundred thousand or so carts........ Scully Posted March 6, 2014 Report Share Posted March 6, 2014 I'm not sure if the Bettinsoli has been around long enough yet to make a judgement one way or the other, bur for now I would have to fo along with those who recommend a good secondhand Browning, Miroku or Beretta.
