JDog Posted March 17, 2014 Report Share Posted March 17, 2014 My Labrador Jack, my constant companion on several hundred days shooting died this morning. On Saturday he was on good form and retrieved lots of pigeons. Yesterday he was subdued and it was obvious to me that he was ill. This morning I found him in a pool of blood having suffered a massive haemorrhage. A friend who is a vet came and put him to sleep. Jack was a Gentleman of the first order. He knew how to behave.
