grrclark Posted March 25, 2014 Report Share Posted March 25, 2014 If you go to the google apps store you can get "ad blocker" as a plugin for Chrome, it's free. That just tend to stop ads appearing on the actual webpage. You can setup a more aggressive pop up blocking policy in your browser settings for both browsers too, have a look in settings and play around. bruno22rf Posted March 26, 2014 Report Share Posted March 26, 2014 The pop ups should have the name of the pop up on it i.e. Web search or Smart search or similar-you will most likely have downloaded these hidden inside another program-you would have been given the opportunity to refuse them but who reads all the small print?
