What butt pad does it ?

Straight - early.

Wavey - later.

If it's an early one then there's your answer.

If it's later then you need to look at things like -

Bolt release - if it's a separate button or on the loading gate.

Chokes - whether beretta mobil flush or not.

Might be easier to post a piccy.

Mk1 small but pad and short end cap internal chokes, Mk2 curved but pad and short end cap internal chokes, Mk1 & 2 have a button on the left of the receiver to release the bolt where the Mk3 & 4 have a double latch on the gate , Mk3 curved but pad long end cap internal chokes, Mk4 curved but pad long end cap and external chokes. I believe there was also some changes to the trigger group in the Mk1 depending on age, as far as I can tell all the MK2 had the modded trigger group. The Mk4 trigger group is different to the Mk2, the pistons in the Mk1 & 2 have a coil spring fitted whereas the piston in the Mk3 & 4 use a wavy spring. There are quite a few differences from Mk3 onwards compared to the Mk1 & 2.
