welshwarrior
What are you shooting. Targets I'd have a look at vortex Lamping I really like a 8x56 or 6x42 German made scope s&b for me you'll get either second hand. 8x56 will need some shopping. If you want new or close to meopta are good or you may get a vary scope from them if you must.
steve_b_wales
Take a look through my Hawke Endurance 30 (3-12x50 IR). It has a 10 year warranty and is a cracking bit of kit. Call in and see.
Loki
Hi A new Minox Z5, side parallax, on Stalking Directory - excellent for the price. Similar price to new some American/Asian glass but these have Schott glass. If I didnt already have 2 I would have picked this up as a spare...... Cheers, L
pg123
Remember you will need good mounts to go with your scope. Optilocks will set you back half of your budget. I have a second hand Meopta 7x50 with optilock rings & bases. All bought secondhand on here at a total cost of £270. A cracking set up for .223 without spending massive amounts. bullet boy
Mark, for your new .223 I will always recommend Simmons WTC scopes-why,because they are fantastic value for money glass and inside your budget. If you can stretch your budget a little then I'd say get a nice secondhand S&B 8x56-ask Steve these are fantastic!! ATB in whatever you choose.
