naddan28
Hi guys, I am rather wierd in the sense that althou I do basically everything right handed and am right handed, I cant shut my left eye and leave my right eye open. Now i have trying to shoot left handed, but really its not going great and I was wondering whether there is any equipment other than a simple eye patch that would allow me to shoot my scoped air rifle right handed while taking into account of my dodgy eye probs!?? Thanks lads, Dan

the last engineer
keep them both open anyway, gives you a better field of veiw around your target. Martin
the hitman
You should keep both eyes open with a shotgun anyway. try the patch with your rifle.

rjimmer
Give one of these a try. http://www.easyhit.co.uk/ Fit it so that only your right eye sees the red dot. This may mean not putting it on the end of the barrel.
kipper
nadda28, join the club nate I have exactly the same problem nate. , I have learnt how to shoot left handed mate It did not take long to get used to it and I feel more comfortuble shooting left handed now. But if yo do learn to shoot left handed mate the only problen is when you go to buy your next gun you will be limited as to what gun's you can buy as not all of the gun manufacturers cater for left handed shooters. My Air rifle is a AAS410 and its fine but cost's about £25 extra for lefted handed stock??? My Winchester Select shotgun has got a ambidextrous stock (can be used by left or right handed shooter) You will find lots of o/u shotguns like this. But if you want a semi auto shotgun you will be limited again. Some gun manufactures do true left hand semi's. some s/a have ambi stocks but if you shoot a right handed s/a off of your left shoulder the fired cartridges fly accross your face. Not Good Then if you upgrade to Rim fire rifles you will be more limited than ever as I am finding out now. Good luck mate let us know how you get on. Kipper THe best bit is kipper, the other day when i first had a go on the 12g I instintively shouldered it to the right! I looked into rimmies for future ref and realised that, so patch is the way forward i think!
