Worth a night out.

Recommended Posts

Had another go at the rabbits last night to get them thinned out a bit.

There was a bit of cloud cover but no rain and it kept fine,

Could have done with a bit of wind as it was very still and had to be really quiet.

I moved twice and only a matter of 50 yds and just had to wait for them to come out of the brambles and nettles.

I like it best when someone else is lamping for me but last night i had to fasten the lamp to my scope.

Managed to get 32 rabbits so it was worth going out last night.

Good bag. What do you do with them? If you don't have an outlet and can freeze them, I can PM you the number of a bloke who will give you £1.50 each (if head shot and gutted) fully grown rabbit. He is from Cumbria but often travels to game/food fares all over the North.

I gave them all away to someone who feeds them to his dogs in the fur for dog food.

I had to carry the lot nearly half a mile from where i shot them to the van.

Not all in one go either and had to stop a few times for a rest.

I don`t get anything for them but would rather they got used than thrown away.
