Beretta06
I don't supposed it was fitted with a wheel clamp. or chained to anything immovable? Sorry to hear the news. Some right ******* about.
Fuddster
Not wishing to worry you but any scrote who knows what decoys are for may conclude you hold guns in the property. A review of your security might be prudent. F.

kent
Will your dog normally kick up a fuss if someone comes on your property at night? If so, consider if the dog knows them well? Chances are it was opportunistic though. List every thing that gone and any unusual features on here perhaps?
besty57
dog normally barks if he heres any strange noises,if he did I never heard him, and im usually a light sleeper.beats me they had to wheel it over some gravel and then uphill up the drive.about 30 feet.,i live in a cul-de-sac. no one saw or heard anything. im more worried about the dog than anything as hes kept in his compound during the day.but I don't suppose they would come back during daylight hours. house security is ok . after thoughts a great thing ,but im thinking of getting a diy cctv system im now. ive lived here 13 year and had no bother up till now.im putting some extra bolts on the sheds now tho

Mentalmac
If you don't use shed often could get a 12 gauge alarm mine - that'll certainly wake you up.
Zapp
Sorry to hear this. My truck got nicked a couple of years back with all my decoying kit in the back, so I know how you feel.

besty57
just a quick update. got a knock on the door this morning ,this guy said he had seen 2 lads knocking about in the street the night the trailer went missing.about 12pm,the guy is often up late and out with his dogs.any way he says he saw the lads later in the woods alongside a disused railway line.only 500or so yards from my house . sure enough theres my trailer, empty like.but ive got it back.i had a quick look about and found my nets and poles, some decoys, magnet.and my one man blind,oh and a 15kg bag of dog food I left in the trailor.going back later to see if I can find anything else. The funny thing is I walk past this spot at least 3 times a day and it never dawned on me to have a look in there,as I thought the trailor must have been towed away, anyway fingers crossed I might find some more gear. drut
Pleased you have recovered as much. After problems losing garden ornaments etc I bought one of these & find it effective albeit with the odd false alarm http://www.amazon.co.uk/Driveway-Patrol-Sensor-Receiver-Kit/dp/B0000645RH I think you can get them cheaper on the bay.
