In many Asian countries (including Even India) they have 'gold' class screens. At least 1 per multi-screen complex. Full reclining seats/beds, blanket, pre-show lounge. if the film was pants at least you got some good quality sleep. Do they have anything like this in the UK?

At the risk of causing a manure storm, the poster above saying about downloading films is a big part of the problem, every one of those downloads costs the studio money and when they need to still make a profit they obviously hit the people who are going to pay - it's like all similar problems ie income tax and the like, those honest ones that will pay will pay for those that won't

I'm not interested in an argument about how the studios need to stop being greedy etc as thats another ball game but fundamentally I see downloading pirated tv and film as no different to buying stuff some scroat ram raided from a shop, just because you're getting a bargain doesnt mean someone isn't paying for it somewhere

New telly has arrived; it wont be the end of cinema but am well chuffed! HD, Swipe and wotsit.....it says it's 'smart' and it certainly is, much smarter than me anyhow. Just need to work out how to use it now. Have a blu-ray film lent by a mate I want to watch through the PS3......' Lone Survivor' with Mark Wahlberg. Should be good.
