Frank
Had a great walk with the dog today and came across some of the first frogs of the spring. The males have seem to have arrived first, as can be seen in this picture and the feamales are coming in in 1s and 2s, so the poor things are getting smotherd by the desprate males, plenty of spawn about too, great to see it all. Love this time of year  Frank.

Lord Geordie
Whilst shooting Skeet at Steve Smiths last week something caught my eye in a puddle. Turned to look and saw a Frog swimming across the 6 by 9 feet puddle. I think the wire from the trap release panel disturbed it to be honest! It drew quite a bit of attention and the skeet was delayed by about 3 mins while everyone had a look! It also reminds me i have to pack the rubber frogs for Pike fishing when i hit Dumfries in April  LG
