henry d
Saw a lot of birds yesterday when out roost shooting, don`t ask, so after getting Mrs.Hd off to work I found the farmer got permission and set up. This is what I was greeted with........shades of OSR I set up in the woods next to the gorse bush and got the birds for the whirly within 10 minutes However the birds either came in either small numbers or 50+ at a time, so when the big bunches came in I just scared them by moving as if I shot at that many I wouldn`t have any of them come back. Still the view was nice and I did get a few sunny periods, I even managed double figures and I`m quite happy for the first proper decoying of the year.
