I love it when people's slate other people over gun price price and brands the hatsan and baikal gets some slaggimg of here can I just point out that when some of you slate the qauitly the finish off cheap guns I would hope that a browning beretta or other makes was better finished more qauility than a gun new say sub£400 to a gun around £900 new you got to realise people thay area more than double the money for a reason I like to see the the bigger brands make a gun that retails for £400 new and compare them of a budget brand or the budget brands making a gun of 900 new but most importantly its not the gun that shoots well its the person

Why do people buy expensive cars ? Because they want the best they can get , not many millionaires driving old ford escorts or astras my mates hatstand escort fell to bits using hot 3" homeloads whereas my beretta xtrema didn't nor did my mates Versamax or his mates maxus

My point it if one cost 400 new one cost 900new I would hope the one that cost more be built better more quality and worked better same as if your comparison of a of the shelf silver pigeon to new holland &holland you got to expect the one that cost more to be better built and my other point still stands if a gun fires weather you got cheap or the most expensiv its the person thats a good shot not the gun

while on the subject of quality, the wood on my outlander is rubbish it looks like it was once a pallet the grain is that open, every outlander ive seen is the same,,i have 2 lanbers and a yildiz and all 3 have better quality of wood and wood finish, when I asked a guy on a stand at the midland fair his reply was "well it is an entry level auto"

I truely believe people buy expensive cars because of the perceived status and kudos driving around in one gives them. There are of course some people that are super rich and just buy the most expensive everything they want simply because they can. I think it is a bit like that with guns as well. It's nice to own the best I admit, but it's not because they are the best value.

I think I understand where you are coming from. Why would you have a quality standard for say a bathroom tap. No one would design the casting to be within 1000th of an inch. It isn't neccessary. Taps are mass produced and that's all you need. It's nothing to do with on the cheap. It's the standard that is required. I'm carp with analogies as you can tell.

have to say,,ok you buy a silver pigeon costing £1000 and you buy another(same model) for £1500, you will find that its the wood which makes the difference , the actual action will be the same but the quality of wood will be far superior on the more expensive gun even though the action is the same,

if you can afford it and you want it then good luck to whoever,

bit like me with my Daystates , people tell me they don't shoot any better than an air rifle costing £200 even though I,ve paid £1500 for a daystate, but it sure as hell looks, feels and in my eyes performs better,

cant see whats wrong with buying the most expensive you can afford, you earn your cash so you should be entitled to spend it on what you want,,

what makes me laugh is the people whom usually slate people for owning a particular brand only do so because they cant afford one

You may or may not have a point, but I couldn't face deciphering the wall of letters.

Do you work at Bletchley Park and is this the Enigma Code?

you should have seen the first hatstands when they came on the market.

i saw more than one with bent ribs, and i saw the end result of a rib falling off!

i do believe that this is not an issue with higher quality and higher priced guns.

I have to agree but 'stream of consciousness' is a recognised literary technique, I believe.

Generally though, the spelling's vaguely correct to give us a sporting chance of making head or tail of the message.

I think the message says that Operation Barbarossa kicks off at midnight and that U-boats are operating in the North Sea.

But I may be wrong - I'm not great at crosswords and am not much of a code breaker.

A technique that is useful for the transfer of information in situations like someone who witnessed a crime, not really a good idea on a forum where the poster hopes to generate discussion!

I often slag off hatstands , I dont do it because they are cheap , I do it because weather you pay £150 or £1500 for a gun they should function correctly and a large number of the hatstands dont , baikals on the other hand will still function after you have dug a hole and knocked in a post with it !

I will predict though that the likes of Hatsan and the other Turkish makers will in a few years have the quality issues sorted and be knocking out some great guns at a good price.

What Flashman and others are trying to say is, throughout your whole post there is not one punctuation mark, this makes it difficult to

read.
