Flask cleaning

For those of us who are Kelly Kettleless and have to rely on a flask, here is a good cleaning tip.

After washing it out, I fill it with hot water, right to the top and then drop in a false teeth cleaning capsule ( i.e.Steradent),but I use Tesco,s cheap version.

Leave the flask overnight and rinse well in the morning.

It freshens up the flask and there is no chemical "aftertaste".

I got fed up with eating lumps of coffee from my flask! Kev told me to put a drop of bleach in it & leave it to soak. When I washed it out, it was like new! Mind you he did tell me to have a swig out of the bottle before I put it in the flask!  :grumpy:
