malkiserow
I am going to buy some sealskinz gloves - hunter model. Mostly wanted for deer stalking. My size in green is not available for a while but black ones are. Shall I hold out for the green/olive ones which are out of stock and will not come in for another 6 weeks or so (they have been out for months) or go for the black ones? matone
Black is a very obvious colour re camo !
Peskyfoxs
Just don't do what I did and buy a pair of discounted macwets only for white ones to arrive (missed that in the small print) On a side note I'm now geared up for fancy dress as a butler

Dunkield
I have the green ones, they aren't all that to be honest....
malkiserow
I have the green ones, they aren't all that to be honest.... The green seems to be on the back of the hands mostly. All the palms are black (or the new ones are anyway)
Bewsher500
I just got some deer hunter neoprene ones Truly dreadful!! Hands were warmer with them off!
matone
Yep,suffered the same with neoprene myself !Have praised my Sealskinz shooting gloves but they fell at the first proper wet day,wet hands pretty quickly !They`re still better than the rest, most of the time though. malkiserow
I just got some deer hunter neoprene ones Truly dreadful!! Hands were warmer with them off! I had a similar experience. Odd isn't it, neoprene in gloves - utter waste of time Neoprene in wellies - lovely and warm, sometimes too warm!

WelshMike
I very much doubt the deer will be to bothered which colour you go for
Dunkield
They latch onto movement though, green would be far better for bringing bino's up/down a lot than black I know they don't see colour the way we do, but drab colours are better than black IMO
bang bang birdy
The sealskins are ok but if it rains hard you do get wet hands
Anth6568
I got the green ones recently, took then on a duck shoot. It didn't rain but it was below 0,they did a good gob of keeping my hands warm and I had good dexterity when it came to using the gun. Bewsher500
i just got a pair of these and gave them a good testing in frozen conditions they are not the warmest gloves but I use the mini handwarmers in the palm when truly cold no issue with waterproof-ness much better than that shizzle deerhunter neoprene ones
shaun4860
The sealskins are ok but if it rains hard you do get wet hands I found that, The water seems to ingress through the fold back fingers and thumbs, Next time I would go for non fold back fingers, I find them warm enough though,

Alycidon
Damart Thermoactle if you can find them, warm, wear the fingers through in a season on the safety catch but not waterproof so buy a few pairs. A

FalconFN
I agree with pretty much everything that's been said. Mine are water resist and warm-ish and dexterity is very good, but the magnets in the fingers are a pain - not least because they interfere with the screens on my NV equipment. Magnet ones are no good. I have velcro on mine, but wish I had the Hunter full glove.
shaun4860
These .... http://www.sealskinz.com/UK/gloves/hunting-gloves-olive yup, I would go for them, I could shoot with the fold back finger ones so would assume these would be just as usable
