Tightchoke, that's how you carry a pistol when you're a cop/soldier . It's no good pulling it out and then cocking it when there's rounds coming you're way and fractions of seconds count.

His weapon handling could do with a bit of a polish though and I'm surprised he didn't get penetration at that range as it's hardly reinforced steel.

No doubt the lift jokes will go another 3 pages

Nowt to do with the story but a friend of mine went into a lift with his wife and pointed to the sign 'no bags allowed' he gave a smutty chuckle and wondered what to do...... His wife told him to grow up, we all had a smutty laugh too when he told us.

Not sure if that isn't more dangerous than firing a gun. :D

Anyone see this on the news last night?

http://news.sky.com/story/1394366/cctv-shows-police-shoot-out-on-london-streets

Very brave copper to fire and move forward on someone known to have a real gun and who was returning fire.

Proper policing - bravely going after someone serious.

This is the face of policing we don't see; most normal people only get to see the tax collectors on the side of the road lifting £80 off us for 36 in a 30.
