Semi Auto club help.....

After a day out yesterday decided to do a full strip down of my Beretta A400 Extreme.

The gun looks like it just came out of the box both inside and out except for one small place. I can't shift a small area of carbon on the piston. The whole piston was black with carbon and 95% of it is gleaming now, just this last bit is being a stubborn ******.

Any tips please?

I don't know if this matters, but the main crud has come off. The metal feels clean and smooth to the touch, it's just black in colour.

I know this can come off as it just a little left in a small area now.

I'll try a brass brush and see if that helps, else I will get some diesel and try soaking it.

I used to soak my gas piston in carb cleaner - came out very well

I used Carb cleaner to clean it but sprayed it on and after five minutes agitated it with the wife's toothbrush and wiped it dry.

How long can I soak it for?
