KFC
At the start of the season we had a Rabbit trap stolen from one of our game covers and I've just had a phone call from our shoot captain to say that, from the same cover, someone has emptied out all the wheat and stolen a 50ltr plastic feeder. The cover is about 50yds from a road and is between Huntingdon and Ramsey. Time for some extra security. Be aware people nothing is sacred
Mentalmac
Would be good fun to put some 12g blank mines on things so they get a little fright when taking things.
TIGHTCHOKE
Would be good fun to put some 12g blank mines on things so they get a little fright when taking things. Unfortunately, as much fun as it may cause it might lead to the thieves to return and cause more problems! It might be better to set up a Trailcam and watch them especially if you could get a vehicle registration number.
MBW
As long as they don't nick the trail cam.......

leadbreakfast
I had all my hoppers emptied and the springs taken, put a trail cam up and was surprised how many dog walkers there are walking past the cover crop. There is no footpath close by they just think they can walk anywhere.
figgy
Get some signs up telling them private land and no dog walking, I'm watching you. The blank firing mines might be a good deterrent to trespassing dog walkers. Edited January 18, 2015 by figgy
