I,m gutted at first sight as I,m not a bullpup fan and at £2000 for a 200 ltd edition I will certainly not be buying one,,think I,ll wait till its a proper rifle and not a pistol in a cutdown stock,,gutted to say the least

I think it looks really cool and respect to Daystate for going with wood rather than the usual black.

One thing that would concern me (apart from the eye watering price) is that scope sits a fair old distance above the bore which would make close range shots interesting. I know this is an issue on a lot of bullpups but this one seems higher than most.

totally agree, as I,m always trying to get my scope as low as possible to the barrel,

Don't worry, I'm sure you'll only have to wait a week or two before a re-badged rifle limited edition Daystate is announced. :ninja:

I agree though, not easy on the eye is it. Shame really as I like the look of some of the less flamboyant Daystates but I'm not keen on bullpups at the best of times and that's way too Flash Gordon for me.

Its not designed to be practical or cutting edge-if it were then they would not limit production and demand such a high price. It is aimed at the collector or the man with small dangly parts that needs to compensate at the local shoot. Still flogging that same old dead horse magazine-when are DS going to employ someone that shoots airguns rather than drawing gun porn then sub contracting out the skilled manufacturing side, then maybe they can call themselves a Gunmaker rather than an assembley shop. Sorry evo.

I know what you mean, but it's hard to do anything else with a bullpup. Most end up looking like that really! Is it the same MCT system that's in the Airwolf and Mk4 is?

no chris the whole gun has been redesigned mate including all the electronics, also instead of the daystate battery as usual it is run by 3xAA,s . what the hell is that about,

Bruno, the first 200 are special edition bud with the laminated stock then they are mass producing them at a lower cost ???, totally put off by this rifle/pistol/whatever, I,d been waiting for the new rifle with money burning a hole in my pocket, but certainly not spending my hard earned on that pistol that's for sure,,, well not unless one comes my way at a very very low price,,. £2000 for a jazzed up pistol is a total joke
