elgreco Posted February 13, 2015 Report Share Posted February 13, 2015 Hi I'm having problems with rats getting under the house, I've had the council out on several occasions and they are convinced they are coming from the drains. Would a Vermend rat blocker solve the situation and are there cheaper types which can be fitted in a deep manhole (the Vermend is about £380)!!? And how do you get the metal one down a 6ft deep manhole and in the pipe opening? I think I would be replacing the entire drain system if I put a rodenator down the bog! I've installed a trail cam in the manhole to see if there is any activity, if so it looks like I'll have to install some sort of blocker to stop them coming through.
