Joshcup11
Hi all. I am looking to buy a ferret. I will be builidng the enclosure myself and was looking for some advice. Metal or wood? Obviously on the inside there will be some wooden structures to allow the ferrets to climb etc. My fortay is metal as im quite handy with the welder . I assume wood wouldnt be too hard! Next for the how do i put it, ''front''? Mesh seems to be the prefered option?? Please could anyone respond with some help or even PM me if they have any plans etc? Cheers Josh

ditchman
im no ferret expert....but i was always told to have 2 ferrets....never one as they are a social creature..........i always had mine in wooden hutches with a nice little sleeping quarter packed with hay...where they could make a cosy nest...make the acess big enough to provide easy and safe handling...and handle them often...theres nothing worse than a ferret bite...they dont stop until they have hit bone !
