Hi to all well I have got my new truck which is going to be for work and shooting and I needed some sort of draw system and after looking on the net soon realised that they are way to over priced so I made my own for a fraction of the price so here it is post-18375-0-76721900-1427613823_thumb.jpgpost-18375-0-53604400-1427613848_thumb.jpg

Cheers lads I have just got to make a removable section for the dog now as I want to take him to work with me as much as possible I was going to make it out of oak vainer but it is for work after all I think the next process for me is to stain it with something hard wearing

That looks really good..

Get your hands on some cheap aluminium angle or similar, use it to edge the drawer boxes and the edges of the cabinet. Stops any big chunks getting knocked off and making it look scabby over time.

For that bit extra, cover it with some hard wearing cheap corded carpet first it will really give it a pro look.

You can also get checker plate rubber matting which gives a nice easy clean finish to protect the top if you need it easy washable. EBay have it.

Yes thanks to all I am going to get some Angled Ali for the edges as you are right they will get battered the rubber matting is a good idea aswell.

As for the template I just did it from scratch I don't think you can get templates to be honest
