the hitman
I only ever bet on the national , and thanks to some good tips from members on p/w I have had some winners in recent years . So can anyone give some info on which horses are showing good form at the right time . Cheers Hitman
islandgun
dont have any tips but used to have fair success backing outsiders at least 33/1 EW you may at least get a place and perhaps a long odds winner, perhaps choose one that likes the going soft/ heavy for example and carrying a light weight, all good fun

norfolk dumpling
Will try to get to the bookies in Beccles - there is always a bunch of antis protesting about the cruelty of this race; the same lot who 'sab' hunts and shoots throughout the season. Wouldn't otherwise place a bet but worth it just to see their miserable little faces!
Fisherman Mike
I only ever bet on the national , and thanks to some good tips from members on p/w I have had some winners in recent years . So can anyone give some info on which horses are showing good form at the right time . Cheers Hitman I've narrowed it down to four...all with course form, generally excellent jumpers and will stay. Super Duty, Chance Du Roy ( sixth last year ) Alvarado ( 4th ) and local to me Saint Are trained by Tom George at Slad, which the stable are quietly confident over.. AP's Mount is bound to go of favourite and JJON will have him wound up like a coiled spring for McCoy's last ride in the race. There is always a connection though with the main events of the time so look for one with a Political connection or something connected with Andy Murrays marriage.......like Rebel Rebellion or Unioniste I shall be travelling up later tonight to stay with my nephew in Widnes before making my way to the course tomorrow I wish you the very best of luck whatever you decide to back. hesstondriver
What ever Tony McCoy gets on it will be the favourite - even if it is a push bike, Currently the top 6 all ran in last years I think I fancy one of the ones at 100/1 !! Thunderbird
I was give the tip to back Balthazar King EW back before Christmas when it was 25-1. It's now 10-1 so I assume is fancied to an extent. Good luck everyone and have a great day up there Mike.
twitchynik
Been tipped the St James in the 1.40 today. Thanks for that. Looked at the card, saw a couple of horses odds dropping and went for them instead. Backed the winner and 3rd place both e/w. That's me done for the day and got my coin for tomorrow..!
