fat_jay
Can anyone recommend an over the counter suppliment to ease joint pain? Poor old spike (14) is getting a bit hobbly, his front paws stiffen quickly now after his walks (and chasing his beloved ball) Just wondered if anyone here with older pooches uses anything successfully to ease thier puppys (at 14 he is still a puppy) joint pain? Thanks Jay
silver pigeon 3
A good friend of mine uses cod liver oil and Glucosamine to ease his elder dogs joint pain. Seems to work for his dog.

loriusgarrulus
I found jointflex worked well for my old lab cross when he got arthritis. Its a NAF product for horses. I used to give him a desert spoonful a day and it took about 4-8 weeks to really show the full improvement. It has oils in for joint flexibility and it worked for him. http://www.viovet.co.uk/NAF_Joint_Flex_for_Horses/c6342/?quick_find=126712&gclid=CITcv-G1oMUCFQLlwgodl3IAzQ

Fal
Metacalm is a good one too, but I think it has to be prescribed.
