Clay shooting near Dorchester

Now that the Cafe (Southern Counties) has closed its clay shooting operation, I am looking for local grounds in the area that are open during the week, I am holidaying down there later on and need some light practice to help me back into the game after 2 years absence due to illness, any help would be appreciated.

We have been to one last year near wareham. Not sure how far away it is from Dorchester maybe an hour or less.

The people that ran southern counties have opened another 3 miles (roughly) down the road from the old ground.

Thanks for the info, will try to obtain more on both, did hear the one close to the old ground only open for competition but will contact them

Purbeck Shooting School have a great layout, the staff are lovely and helpful, and the English breakfast is first rate. There's a great mix of targets, too
