Penelope
Many things have their roots deep in history. I can see how that is very plausible P. It is fascinating really how even many hundreds of years on a lot of our behaviour and belief is derived from something that is so far removed from the realities of the current day. big bad lindz
There are people in Fife too I shall declare myself an independent territory within the Scottish landmass, but part of the UK. Like a lot of us would want to do
pegasus bridge
Ok then, if Scotland has voted for far left socialism, the only way to achieve this dream would be independence? Surely the socialist voters don't want nasty Tory majority restricting the socialist dream? The only logical way is independence, including full fiscal responsibility surely ? They are then free to spend as much as they like. Subject to raising the capital to do it of course 😂

Subject to raising the capital to do it of course I guess the same argument would hold true for any traditional socialist ward, or conversely during times of a Labour government the more right leaning wards may wish to pursue something different. Thankfully we are all not so fickle as to assume a single vote in a general election is to be held in perpetuity.

norfolk dumpling
Niall, 75% was incorrect for total - its 30% (still very high) - but some areas are 75%. My old company were looking to sell High Net Worth products but struggled to find sufficient prospects in some areas.
