Bullet Pen

Hi Guys,

As part of my interest in woodturning, I make pens in both wood and acrylic.

One of the designs I create is a Mini Bolt Action Bullet Pen, please see the attached photograph.

The pen in the picture was made using a piece of Olive Wood and finished using several coats of hard wearing CA, then polished to a high gloss.

The pen is 104mm long (just over 4") and weighs 42 grams.

I can, and will, make them in other woods such as Walnut, Oak Burr, Thuya Burr, Palmwood, etc.

I will also be making one in an acrylic cammo pattern.

If you would like one, they are £25 including UK p&p.

They are supplied in a velvet, drawstring pouch.

If you would like a specific wood, please let me know and I will attempt to accommodate your request.

The pen in the photograph is available for purchase if any one is interested.

If you would like more photographs, please PM me.

If you would like to see my other style of pens (ballpoint, fountain and rollerball), please let me know and I will send you pictures and details.

Regards,

Paul

The bullet under the pen is only a prop. The pen is retractable via the bolt, so doesn't need a cap.

The bolt will turn the other way up, you just need to undo a small screw, using a long screwdriver, rotate the bolt and tighten the screw, simples.

I'll take this, if I may?

Sorry, that one has been purchased by swampyis1968.

However, I will be making another one in the next day or so.

You will be able to see a photo of it before you buy it.

Would you prefer Olive Wood or something else.

Cheers,

Paul.

Hi Paul,

They look good....can you send or post up the fountain and roller ball variety as well please ?

Many thanks

Dave

Hi Dave,

I can post pictures of my other pens.

Just to clarify, they are not bullet style pens, but I will post pickies anyway. Bullet pens are only available in ballpoint.

Cheers,

Paul

Not too fussed about which wood although something UK native like cherry or apple would be great if you have it. You have my e-mail (in a PM)

Hi Paul,

Oh OK sounds good....

I'd be interested in a bullet one....gun mental finish in Oak Burr or Thuya Burr.

Let me know what you need from me.

Many thanks

Dave

I'd also like to see some pictures of the gel/fountain pens please.

  • 4 years later...

Hi,

Whilst on a quest to find the correct refill for my unbranded bullet pen I stumbled across this tread, glad I did too! I registered just to be able to reply.

Paul, I saw your pen and I'd really like one! Do you have a website?

I'd really appreciate it if you can tell me how I see your other pens.

Many thanks, Jaq

Hi Jaq,

I don’t have a web site, just sell them on here occasionally.

I will have a look at what I have in my stock.

I have not made any this year as I had an accident with the mitre saw about three months ago and lost the end of one of my fingers and badly cut another. I know I do have an acrylic cammo bullet pen available.

My latest pens all now take Parker style refills, so the issue of finding replacements is much more straightforward.

Cheers,

Paul
