Topgunners Posted May 28, 2015 Report Share Posted May 28, 2015 (edited) After our Mega 48 hour stint I rang the lady farmer and told her what we had done, and she was over the moon. She then said that due to the fact we had shot all those crows last week, we had unfortunately moved them all up to the cattle barns and around the house. I said we would pop back over, and she then gave me a couple of leads for some more farm permissions. This gal is a diamond. Yesterday we arrived early morning and after watching for a while we setup under what we thought was the best flight-line. We shot steady all day as the birds just kept coming Whilst there was a quiet period in the banging, I spotted 2 foxes mooching about in the next field up.We will be back. Good bit of banter and a lovely warm day. Final bag was 172 corvids, 2 pigeons and 5 magpies.
