tx4cabbie
Taking a pal and his son shooting Sunday, they've been before, and I got 21g 12 bore shells for the lad,but the weight of my gun was too much for him. Another friend has said he'll bring his 20g sxs along, but I've no idea what shells to buy for it. Any suggestions? It just a straw bale shoot, nothing too taxing, so want a light recoiling cart, cheapish. What do you think I should get? Thanks in advance for any pointers you can give me. Guest cookoff013
Find 20gauge 21gram or subsonics.
Westley
Eley CT 21 grams. I have used a lot for Instruction through a Yildiz O/U which is a tad over 6lbs. Both Females and Youngsters have shot around 50 each and all without a problem. Just one point though, my gun has a 13 1/4" stock, do not overlook the importance of a shorter stock. A stock that is too long will cause bruising to the upper arm even with light loads if you are not careful.
