there is a company in Wembley (i think) who specialise in car restoration who supply all that stuff by the metre.............and it is a heck of a lot cheaper than getting it from a landrover dealer/company............thats where i went ..when i did my manky mossy rusty runner side windows.........

Was talking to wife this morning over breakfast out about a possible series one job for profit or a 90 for long term investment

The last 90s were too dear to be worth it

Like this thread keep it going

thanks kent.

so out of interest, what would be the best land rover to restore if you were doing it to sell obviously to make money on, i would of thought a early 80" series 1?

A lot depends on a lot. Buy right and sell at the right point in time.

I predict original Unaltered 90s will be worth good money in the future but not in the next decade. Series 1 is all about buying right making perfect and selling right

With both these things you need to hang on its not a fast buck and there are better ways to earn and invest but not all are fun

The series 1 made little when you think how much it cost relative to houses when brand new the house was a massively better investment to make

Now where was that lightweight Landy thread..... you know, the lightweight Landy thread to beat all other lightweight Landy threads.

Man that was funny and embarrassing all at the same time. It was like watching a whole series of Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em but condensed into 1 short thread.

molygrease its what most l/r agents are recommending.........mine was built for diff oil ..but has been working perfect for god knows how many years with molygrease...and leaks are a thing of the past.......you get them from landrover shops in a plastic sachet with a spout...snip the top of the spout and squeeze it in....
