kent
Leave gas pistons soaking in meths 24 hrs and then do them with an old toothbrush dry them off and light oil. Not a wd40 fan myself I prefer other cleaner lubricants But otherwise much like Albert. Remember to clean the gas ports through the barrel with a bit of wire. They can easy fill with carbon and such
Chrish88
Thanks pal. What products do you use?
Albert 888
Legeda by browning in the red can is good. I only use wd40 on my auto as I'm lazy. My other guns I use legeda or napier spray,or an oiled rag.

smokinggun
3 in one on all my guns both for cleaning and lubricating as it does both, my dad has had guns since a kid and is a engineer and told me for guns all you need is a light oil, mine all still look as good as the day I got them even my airguns from when I was a child
ditchman
50/50 mix of desiel and petrol...............then wiped down with oil rag..........
oowee
SAS spray on my A300. Under the tap for the plastic stock. I use it on average at least 3 days a week but I don't clean it often, about once a month or every 1000 shells or so, never clean the barrel. Once in a while out with the choke clean the threads and a bit of grease.

Albert 888
Legia spray. Sorry that's the one I use in the red can, not legeda.
Wiggum
I use GT85 to lubricate my Beretta as its a dry lube it doesn't attract all the unburnt powder and dust.
Westley
Alloy wheel wipes from Aldi, or Grease and oil wipes from Lidl, used on my 2 Beretta auto's. Have used them for over 2 years without any damage to guns finish. They leave the piston and magazine tube sparkling. Pipe cleaner for the barrel vents. Lubricate with Lucas red gun oil, job done. Mike737
Saltings, when you say 'paint thinners', do you mean turps substitute or cellulose thinners please? Thanks, Mike.

Fishing Richie
Chris88, I have the same gun and use it mostly for clay breaking so its not exposed to a any mud or salt water. I clean the barrel, gas piston and locking nut thing after every shoot (100 shots). I soak the locking nut in a jar of Eds Red ( 1 part of Acetone, White Spirit, Paraffin and Auto Transmission Fluid). Once soaked for an hour I use a tooth brush to clean the residue off. I clean out the gas holes in the barrel with a pipe cleaner again soaked in Eds Red and clean out the barrel with a bore snake. When I reassemble the gun I put a smear of gun oil inside the gas piston and a smear of grease inside the ring on the barrel that goes over the magazine. I think this makes it easier to clean and has not yet affected performance. Twice a year I take the trigger group out and again just clean off the soot with a toothbrush. Fishing Richie
Chris, I am no expert but have put 5K cartridges through it in just over 12 months without issue. The gun still looks and works like new. Rich

Awsome looking great to shoot and we've put loads of different ammo through it.
