mickyh
Does anyone use one of these boosters? The signal inside my house is terrible but Vodafone want £100 for one of these! There seems to be more than one model for sale on ebay so I'm baffled. Does anyone have any experience of these things? Thanks.
4eyes
I have the v3. Simple to set up, just needs a power socket and an Ethernet connection to your broadband. Gives a 3g signal throughout the house. Got it through work as our corporate devices are Vodafone. Would be lothed to pay £100 for it. If your early in your contracr I'd be canceling due to poor coverage and finding another provider.
Brixsmaid
I've had one for a few years and it does what it says on the tin! I've heard Vodaphone are playing catch up with a wifi phone signal booster, think a couple of other phone providers already have them, might be worth a Google to see what's what? gixxerboy
We've been with them for years and they wanted me to pay 50 notes for the V2. I said I'm already paying for a service that I'm not getting and kicked off and in the end they sent me one for free.

sishyplops
Am I right in thinking that it only boosts your 3G signal not the mobile call network?? If that's the case I can't see the point as you can just use your broadband wifi on your phone can't you?
geoffwales
I have it at home and work it is good, but i think either ee or one of the others are offering free wifi calls with their network http://ee.co.uk/ee-and-me/network/wifi-calling

LiTtLe YeLlOw DaFfOdIl
I manage several of these for various clients. If you have Broadband, they work. Easy to set up. Easy to manage. I'd definitely recommend them.
crowdie2013
I got one from my work- not sure what model but its the plug style one; Only works up to about 8M from the sure signal so doesn't give signal in the garden or other parts of the house. There a rip off at £100 IMO but fine for in the one room.

Simonc_here
We have ours in the loft and it give signal throughout the house. 3g signal, just like from a normal mast, so yes it does phone calls as well. I've got an O2 phone that has the O2 tugo app on it, but it's really bad for picking up incoming calls.
