Retired (aged 56) Chief Accountant; retired (aged 63) Diving Instructor; retired (aged 68) part time Office Manager. Now permanently retired after 50 years of work. Now it's my time - shooting, fly fishing, travel and skiing (Spending the Kids Inheritence).

I hold many jobs as a 22 year old :good: . Finalising my qualifications to become a freelance interpreter (Polish and German), part-time LGV driver, and part-time accounts clerk (you need some beer money after all!). Next year I'm trying to start my ATPL training (Airline Transport Pilot's Licence).

Very interesting so far, shooting is seen as being elitist and the preserve of the wealthy, yet the spread of jobs of PW members ranges right across the board from unskilled manual to professional, artisanal to industrial and agricultural to high tech.

We all knew that anyway, but interesting none the less. The shooting org's would do well to focus on and publicise the spread of those involved in the sport, whether it be target shooting or live game.

I agree. It would be good for the third parties to know that shooting and hunting (and countrysports in general) aren't just the domain of the wealthy, and are hobbys for all members of the socio-economic sprectrum.

I think the BASC survey earlier in the year included some detail on this.
