Just a bit of a rant really, Sir Peter Scott was a keen fowler and learned a huge amount of nature out with his gun, yet his Wikipedia entry doesn't mention shooting once, it's ridiculous...

Somehow 'conservationists' imagine that being a fowler and a conservationist are mutually exclusive, which of course couldn't be further from the truth.

Also an artist. At least one corridor of the Sgt's Mess at RAF Newton near Nottingham was lined with his work. Often wonder what happened to them.

 

Edit: PS He was also a champion glider pilot and it's just possible that the pictures and his flying are connected - a 'thank you' perhaps.
