JDog
This afternoon at 3:30 I heard then saw at a distance of well over a mile a skein of Pinks heading south westwards over the Wolds. I estimate that there were twenty birds. Just now at 6:00 I heard then saw another skein. I was able to count forty geese. They were heading westwards! Dr D
We don't get pinks here. But this afternoon whilst decoying I watched skein after skein of Brent coming in. They were miles up, but you could still hear them. Wonderful sight. The moon definitely has the wildfowl moving.
