Gutted dropped rifle

Check the fit of the mount on the rail. It may have moved with the impact. Most scope blocks have windage movement which will allow it to be brought back on to zero. Bore sight to get it near and then fine adjust. But check that the scope and mount are both tight and that neither are loose or zero will keep shifting

Give it a tap lol its just had a rudy good tap from 4 feet onto hard standing.

It's me that needs a tap with soft mallet

On the back of my head for putting it on a slopping shiny wet surface.

It's all in hand, I'll be getting it all stripped down this morning.

At least it still groups, for this one of those moment where you can now fully strip down the rifle to bare bits check everything and reassembly to ensure everything is back together correctly then zero again and off you go.

All done.. It was nice have another chance to check over and admire my lovely bedding job too :-))

A quick bore sight and its looking goooooood ;-)

I'm more annoyed about a wasted night, planned on covering 2 perms last night, Oh well weather's ok for tonight.

Forgot to mention, ,, the scope and nv was actually separated from the rifle on the floor, so it had a good tap..

Thats a proper tap mate. Glad you are all sorted and no permanent damage done.

Did the same last year and knocked the front end clean off my photon with doubler :( it wasn't repairable, so then got an NS Wolf with a Meota Meropro 6-18x50, which worked extremely well.

Now fitted an X-sight 5-18x though and see how that goes

Been out tonight and got it back to reasonable but not got the confidence to do anything over 200yds. That's the unfortunate thing.

Had some head shot rabbits at 150 and 160 and a fox at 160 but it's that little bit of doubt before you send the bullet.

Nowt worse than confidence being off. Sounds still capable though Dougy.
